Ouch. None of us is getting any younger.

However, look at it this way.

If your test comes back okay, you had nothing to worry about.

If it comes back, uh, not so okay, then it may still be easily treatable,
and no worries.

If it takes treatment, it may be cured, so no worries.

If it does not respond well to treatment, it may take years to get bad, so
no worries.

If it gets bad, you may still eventually recover (or succumb to some other
malady in the interim), so no worries.

If you do, uh, not do so well, and pass away, you may go to heavenly bliss,
so no worries.

If you do not quite make it to heavenly bliss (entrance criteria are always
subject to change without notice), you will be so busy shaking hands with
all those old friends, you will not have time to worry.
