Although I don't remember who mentioned it, it was brought up in context of
moving house and cats, and I know your name came up, so I am obviously
confused as to who said it. No matter, I've heard it said, and it seems a
reasonable idea. I believe the purpose is to have Kitty so occupied with
cleaning the butter off itself that it forgets the strangeness of the
surroundings.
