LDS has used Boy Scouting as their youth activity for boys.  That’s not what bothers me about LDS.  Too many scouting activities have to be adjusted to accommodate LDS chartered troops and packs.  LDS rules require church attendance on Sundays for everyone.  That means most weekend events have to end Saturday evening so the LDS troops, packs, and leaders can leave, either that night or early the next morning.  That happens to the detriment of boys in non LDS chartered troops and packs.

Next step is to open Scouting to girls.
