Such losses are always sad.

This morning Archie is far from his usual ebullient self. A pile of
sick in the hall, but where's Archie, who is usually the wake-up
fellow? I finally found him in his cat carrier with his Precious, the
plastic sleeve that the paper comes in knotted to mouse size and
mouth-feel. He has not come out.

The very last thing I need at this time is a sick pussy cat!

I'm now waiting for word from Beth the Mortgage that the bridging loan
papers have arrived at a local-to-me bank branch from Port Hope. I then
rush down to sign them so they can be sent back to her and then
forwarded to another bank branch in suburban Ottawa where Jim now is for
the rest of the week for him to sign (because we are co-owners of the
W'vale house whose sale closes on the 7th). I then must drive to Port
Hope this afternoon to present myself to the lawyer handling the
purchase to sign other stuff, before tomorrow's closing when I must
return there, assuming all has happened in time. I don't do this kind of
stress well.

Now rising panic over all that remains to be done, especially
physically, to get the place set for Tuesday's big move. I need either
an administrative assistant or else someone to pack up, and throw out
pod contents, and take more stuff to Value Village and and and.

Please, a moment of your time to send up prayers large or small on my
behalf and for Archie. Sorry I didn't stay on topic.

Marion, a pilgrim
