Today, July 30th, is my birthday - thank you all y'all!

I share today with my father Alan Soukup (b 1923), still alive &
enjoying life although slowing down at 92, with a second cousin Anna
Hansen (her grandmother & my mother are sisters), with several friends
and acquaintances. A great day! It's also been quite a month (3 jobs:
General Dynamics Information Technology to Engility to Hewlett-Packard
Enterprise)!

Now I am working with Hewlett-Packard as contractor support for a USA
gov't HHS (Health & Human Services Department) CMS (Centers for
Medicare/Medicaid) contract on Health Care Quality Information Systems
(HCQIS), not affiliated with the Affordable Care Act but with a
different series of health initiatives. I have been weathering through
the process of on-boarding at HP, at Ventech Solutions (contract
awardee), and at CMS. It's one step at a time again & again & again.
Eventually I will be of use.

The job definition has changed, again. I still approach it with the
attitude that if I do not want to re-invent what I do every 18 months
or so, I do not belong in the IT/computers/tech world.

Simultaneously, I have signed up for Medicare & supplements (what a
convoluted service/product Medicare is!).

Hoping any and all good blessings of the day will spread out and make
everyones day filled with wonder, joy, and love!
