Update on my daughter. I picked her up at the airport this evening, and as soon as she saw me she burst into tears. She's still sick, has only eaten about three times since Tuesday evening. I took her home, and she ate some ramen noodles and went straight to bed. She said she doesn't have a fever now, but thinks it was very high for about 24 hours.
She's really glad to be home in her own bed.

...this time for my daughter Michelle. She's in Birmingham, AL, for a work-related conference and got sick last night with fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Today she had to make a presentation around noon, which she did, but she's back in bed now. She said it's been awful. She flies home tomorrow evening, and I'm just glad it should be a short flight. I'll pick her up around 7:30.
