9th Sunday after Pentecost / 2015
O God, the protector of all who trust in you, without whom nothing is
strong, nothing is holy: Increase and multiply upon us your mercy; that,
with you as our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal,
that we lose not the things eternal; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Almighty God, from whom all good things come: You called Ignatius of Loyola
to the service of your Divine Majesty and to find you in all things.
Inspired by his example and strengthened by his companionship, may we labor
without counting the cost and seek no reward other than knowing that we do
your will; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. (today August 31)
