I had a very pleasant morning and lunch with Martin Dale and his wife
Maddy, who are visiting Long Island. After the mandatory church tour, we
went to an exhibition of photographs by Toni Frissell, who lived here in St
James (famous photos include this:

That was followed by lunch in a local cafe, and much conversation.  We
didn't talk much about the pub...:)
