​Those are fairly common given names among our African brethren and
sistren.  Several ​years ago Mississippi State's women's basketball team
had a player named Blessing Chekwa. Two sisters of the NFL's Prince
Amukamara played for Arizona State last year--Peace and Promise; his other
sisters are similarly named. Blessing and Rejoice in particular are fairly
common.
