[Magdalen] Naturalization Ceremony

I have no idea why my previous email suddenly took flight but, I think,
Apple's mail is far too touch sensitive. I have no idea how to make it less
so.

When I got to Europe, servicemen there welcomed us with derisive laughter,
thinking they were short timers compared to us. When I pointed out that I
had less than nine months to go, they were crestfallen that I was actually
the short timer.

It was a totally stupid reassignment but I enjoyed it any way, even
in Baumholder, a place where American soldiers outnumbered Germans.
Thankfully, i was there for only a couple of months (in the dead of winter).
