IANT but the oath contains the following:
"I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity
to any ... state or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been
a subject or citizen."

Amazing to me that non-native speakers (and probsbly most native
speakers) of our common language understand that sentence.
