I caught USA soon-to-be Presidential candidate Jeb Bush saying today in  the
news that he needed to get himself centered by "going to Mass."
 
He married an Hispanic woman and swam the Tiber in 2004.
 
It's therefore interesting that neither of the presidential Bush boys  have
continued with their cradle Episcopal heritage.  George W. Bush  became
a Methodist (his wife is Methodist).
 
As far as I know, President G H Bush and his wife, Barbara, are still
active members of Saint Marten's Episcopal Church, Houston.
 
With the latest round of discussions, it looks more like the  Methodists
will be in full communion with TEC, so that will swing George W. back
home.  Don't hold your breath with Jeb, however.
