But what part of Lake Superior?  It is so big.  Of course you can  see it
all via the Lake Superior Circle Route, but that's a 5-6 day drive  around
the entire lake.
 
Though the south shore in Wisconsin and Michigan have their charms,
probably the easiest and least time-consuming is Minnesota's North
Shore, which hugs the lakeside cliffs from Duluth to Two Harbors and
beyond.  And consider a trip (from either Michigan or Minnesota)  to
Isle Royale National Park.
