When the decades long tenure of the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral
in Eau Claire was over, the retired Dean, who had bought a home in
Eau Claire, started attending the 8 AM Low Mass.
 
Unfortunately, senility quickly set in, and he would sit at the back of  the
church quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) muttering, "Lies!   Lies!"
during the course of the new Dean's sermons.
 
Finally, the Bishop had to intervene, and he was banished to the  other
Episcopal parish in an Eau Claire suburb, Altoona, from which God in
his wisdom called him after just a few months.
