[Magdalen] Unexpected Pleasure.

There's a Swedenborgian Church in my town, and the college here was founded by the Swedenborgians. The library has quite a collection of S's works. My sister told me she once decided to get out a book on what S's believe, and they directed her to a 20 volume set of books. She didn't tackle them, and I haven't either. I know one thing is they call their church The Church of the New Jerusalem, and they believe that the Second Coming took place in (I believe) 1644.

I had a friend who I met at UW Summer Music Clinic who went to the New
Church Academy in Bryn Athyn. I've always been curious about the
Swedenborgians since I met Marcia, but I have never quite been able to make
head or tail of what they believe.
