Actually, I think the Japanese grow rhubarb, and there are
the Japanese Macaques (Snow Monkeys) there as well.
 
I thought it was incongruous for snowy mountain areas to see
monkeys, but they are all over the place, even to the point
of holding up traffic, since they are a protected species.
