Finally made it here to Poipu Kapili (poipukapili.com <http://poipukapili.com/>) after a late start this morning.  My flight from SeaTac was scheduled to depart at 8:40 AM PDT.  As the preflight inspection started someone noticed “airplane parts on the ground.”  Turned out to be a piece of a door.  After an hour and a half, they had that fixed, and then we had a medical emergency on board.  A passenger had a psychotic anxiety attack, EMTs were called, and he was removed from the plane (at least he didn’t wait until the plane was in the air!).  Because the EMTs used the plane’s emergency equipment, it had to be replaced and we waited even longer for the necessary paperwork.  We finally took off at noon.  Temperature is in the mid 70s, clear sky, light breeze, and I’m looking at the Pacific as I write this.

Marcy is at Hospice Atlanta Center getting excellent care while I’m gone.
