Hmmm -- this could work.  For now, we've switched to the ceramic paten,
which is salad-plate size with a rim.  We still use the pretty silver
chalice though, so they don't really match.  I'd love a silver paten with a
cross to match the chalice, and we have some memorial funds.  I may ask the
vestry about it.
