On a goofy tangent, I recall thinking I had a career in comedy writing
when I came up with a title for a sequel to Stephen King's The
Shining. It's...wait for it...The Farting.

Must have been when I had a particular roommate at Michigan State, and
the sequel was probably about him, somehow. Can't believe it wasn't
picked up by Mad magazine.
