You preach it, brother Allen! I agree with you 100%. There's something
wacko about taking others with you -- something very deeply angry, probably
evil. Nobody ever accused YOU of "Lenten Madness," as you call it. I'm
sorry you even are in a position to contemplate these deep thoughts (and I
agree with your pastor friend -- they are among life's great, deep
mysteries) -- but glad you are the kind of man who does think deeply. You
speak so little of your troubles that sometimes I forget. I am adding you
to my own prayer list.
