Just sang in another performance of the Brahms Requiem.
Cappella Festiva, Vassar College Choir and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic
Choirs prepared by Christine Howlett (extraordinarily good musician in
every respect)
Performance directed by Randy Fleisher (hard to believe, but this man has a
fine conception of how the piece goes, and his conducting is lucid and
crisp)
Just a really superb evening.
A few of us went out for snacks afterward and had a fantastic time.
Doesn't get much better than this.
