But it's a small Episcopal/Kudzu world. There was a short-lived Musical of 
Kudzu. The boy was played by the son of the then-choirmaster/organist at the 
Cathedral of the Incarnation -James Ludwig. His mother was organist at Grace, 
Massapequa.

And the Little Jewel was Jim Handsfield's parish when he was a boy. Abby Murphy, 
who some of you know, was an assistant there at the same time the Ludwig boys 
were singing in the choir. I met the family when they led the annual 
Hymnathon -- every verse of every one of the 720 hymns (including multiple tunes 
for the same text!) every years as a fundraiser. (I;'ve told the story of 
cconspiring with the kids to choose "Long Island's Favorite Hymn" here before).
