is in the bixes, tens of thousands of them up and down the country, but 
what it means will take time to berevealed.  Opinion polls have 
indicated a fairly steady picture of an equal division between the 
Conservatives, Labour and the other parties combined.

The exit polls indicate a radically different make-up in the new House 
of Commons with a large increase in the number of SNP Members elected 
and a sharp reduction in the number of Liberal Democrats. Within the 
next 20 hours we should know the actual make-up of the number of people 
elected.  If, as expected, no party has an overall majority, the 
negotiayions over what happens could take quite a time.
