Nor does he/she "make Sacrifice".  That expression always seems 
to me like a cook whipping up something in the kitchen.  Or, at  worst,
there being made a fresh, new Sacrifice of the Cross when there was
only one Sacrifice of the Cross, Calvary, which can never be  repeated.
 
He/she does evoke, make present, Calvary itself, and we get to tag
along to offer ourselves in that One Great Sacrifice.
 
In any case, agreed that "perform" the Mass is not the best choice of  
words for
