Subject: [Magdalen] Pentecost update

I trust the Holy Spirit came and everyone was edified.  For the first time in years (as long as Marcy and I have been married), we missed the Pentecost celebration and parish picnic.  Marcy was extremely tired and weak last night and this morning she slept until almost 10:30 this morning. 

The ALS continues to progress.  I’m having more and more difficulty understanding her, especially when her voice gets weak, which is fairly often.  On Thursday, we have an appointment with a communication specialist who will deliver a new eye gaze system for Marcy.  With it she’ll be able to ‘speak’, operate her computer, and control the television.  I have more IT to learn.
