[Magdalen] Gap year (or more)

No pregnant student was allowed to continue in my high
school. Even married women couldn't continue as members
of the student body.

Pregnant teachers were allowed to continue if they wished.
But no pregnant students. Barbaric.

When I went to college it was stipulated in the acceptance
letter. Pregnancy was grounds for expulsion. Also barbaric.
