[Magdalen] She's leaving church

Molly, I really do understand, and hope that you find all that you need
and find the happiness and comfort you deserve.

I really hope this is the way for you. While the church more often than
not infuriates me and makes me feel deep despair, still I couldn’t choose
that way - I need the sense of community I get from the church, for all
its terrible flaws. And in my case, I’m afraid I would miss the liturgy
and even the history; though often not the people, or some of them.

But I would leave you with this, Molly. My sense of religion and
Christianity has been informed, and not in a small way, by your own
writing, and your contributions to the spirit of the old Anglican list.
And your Sabbath Blessings, which I re-read often.

Ferdinand
