I remember when the FSM schtick first popped up. A student was ridiculing a
Kansas school board that insisted that other than traditional scientific
models ought to be taught, so he came up with another view, other than the
traditional scientific view. I don't think they bought it, but his creation
has certainly taken off, although it never was intended to be taken even
vaguely seriously.  This demonstrates there really are a lot more than just
one born every minute.
