The story’s narrator, according to the reviewer, is a half-Afrikaans, half-English woman named Tannie Maria who lives in a place called Klein Karoo. She writes an advice column in the local paper. The author is Sally Andrew, no “s.” I reserved the book at the library today — hope my fellow citizens who reserved it ahead of me read fast and return on time.
