So glad he arrived safely! Des Moines is a fun town - although as he will quickly learn, not the best laid out city (many one way streets downtown that make it challenging to navigate). 

I'm about an hour and a half away if he needs anything - and happy to recommend places to eat, worship, etc...

He should definitely check out Zombie Burger and Raygun. Hope he has a great time!
