I still enjoy tomato sandwiches in the summer. I've never tried a ketchup sandwich, though ketchup atop rice was popular "poor food" when I was in Taiwan.

(My mother (from Chicago) always pronounced that word, "to-MAH-to", which almost got me beaten up when I said that to some schoolmates. I've always tried to blend in linguistically... and can still turn on my southern Virginia "accent" as needed.)
