There are several churches here that do Thanksgiving as a corporate or
community celebration. I've joined in in the past, and it's a wonderful
experience.

Frankly, hanging out with women from different cultures in the kitchen and
watching and helping (and learning) is my idea of a fabulous time. One year
we had an impromptu hymn-sing doing the washing-up.
