Mine is 1987 (around the same time as this meeting)
and there is no such provision. Allowing laypeople to
carry the sacrament is a fairly recent development.

One of my side gigs (when I was working) was helping
lawyers with malpractice suits. You'd be AMAZED at the
number of people who graduate from law school and pass
the bar who don't realize that the latest edition of a medical
text wasn't yet published when the alleged malpractice
occurred.
