If I could Sherman-and-Peabody history to make a change long ago and far away, I'd have the SCOTUS very early on weigh in on just exactly what a "second amendment right" is.  "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."  Terrifying people in a Denny's or Perkos, or Cliven Bundy's butt buddies drooling tobaccy in the face of federal marshals, ain't what it's about.  This really needed clarification way before one could print a gun from a computer.
