1 dead, several hurt.  In Winter 1988 I was a grad student there for a few short months before I discovered that my future lay in gov't bureaucracy.  The dorm where it happened is new, and therefore not the one I lived in.  But dang.  I was there for only a short time, but my memories are as vivid now as then.  It's supposed to be a tranquil place.  Very sad.
