[Magdalen] Happy birthday Kristin Rollins – October 21

Thank you.

The birthday was a good one, but pretty quiet. It was good to hear from
so many on Facebook.

Heather and I went out for barbecue at lunchtime and she presented me
with a couple of small gifts (a couple of lip glosses, a few candles,
and a fountain pen). The main thing I had been asking for is not quite
available yet, but should be available to order next week. I also got a
gift certificate from my mother. And a phone call from her and an email
from my father.

Dinner was takeout from Olive Garden with supermarket cheesecake for
dessert (and breakfast this morning…and probably won't be finished until
tomorrow).

The Jays weren't eliminated on my birthday (whew!) and after Heather
went to bed, I watched a hockey game.

I also managed to get a walk in (to at least PARTIALLY negate eating
more than I should have yesterday).

Speaking of walking, I am trying to get out the door for today's walk,
so I should sign off for now.
