[Magdalen] Disappearing money - please pray

In the US similar things have occurred whereby a device is inserted invisibly inside the insert area which allows the 'criminal' to retrieve the deposit which has appeared, to the depositor, to have been properly processed. I'm not sure what the outcome is here for the bank client or the level of accountability for the bank, especially if a correct deposit slip is issued which is usually the case. 
Sally, it is my hope and prayer that this dilemma is resolved soon and to your benefit. Banks here in Texas are moving closer and closer to only having this kind of deposit - which I have never used or liked and I've had different problems that are only inconveniences not potential losses. 
Lynn, on the road soon continuing the drive home after 2 weeks of vacation. A 12 hour drive ahead.

Keith went to a bank ATM yesterday to deposit money into his personal
account for paying of various bills including rent. Envelope went in,
machine swallowed it...nothing. No record of payment into the account, no
proof he was ever there.

Another customer had a similar problem, he was in an even worse state
because he'd recently had a housebreaking and was trying to replace
essential items.

After a frustrating afternoon trying to get sense out of the bank, which
Keith does NOT have time for right now as he's busy with training and other
business stuff in Johannnesburg, he was left at a loss for what to do.

We get into trouble with the agent if the rent isn't paid on time and other
bills are also time critical....

So please pray that there will be a swift resolution to this, though as yet
I have no idea what the problem was. Unlikely to be anything criminal,
though you never know with ATM's.
