BTW -- saw my Cornea Specialist at Cornell-Weill last week. I knew my sight was deteriorating, but falling from 20/40 to 20/100 was startling -- especially as my vision often clouds due to edema under the Cornea.

A visit to the Retina Specialist is September 24.

The current thinking is to get along as best as possible until I can’t function, and then do a partial cornea transplant (only the back part of the Cornea). But all this needs to be co-ordinated with the Oncologist as well.

A year after the cancer diagnosis, my tumors are all smaller, at least, and I’m handling the chemo well – with all blood tests in normal range.
