[Magdalen] Priest in Charge.

Saint Stephen's Procathedral will have a part-time "Priest in Charge"  for
at least the next year.  The priest is on the faculty of one of the  local
colleges - Kings College - operated by the same order as the more  famous
Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN.  He is, among other things,  a
PhD.
 
The Procathedral has had an interim rector for more than a year who 
will turn over the rector duties to the Priest in Charge.  The  arrangement
is because there "have been unforeseen difficulties" in finding a  rector
for the parish.  There are also two part time priests who help out  with
duties.
 
The announcement of this arrangement contends that part-time rectors
are common at this time in TEC, but it's a first for the  Procathedral.  The
rector position at Saint Stephen's is still considered by the Diocese to be 
 full
time, ideally.
