Selsen Blue got rid of a red spot on my head / scalp that my dermatologist
was concerned about. I've also heard it works well on rosatia (sp) too.

Who am I to dispute success? If it works, it works.

I really only have experience with the brown bottle/yellow cap prescription
strength Selsun which works well on the short term for dandruff/seborrhea
of the scalp, and it also is helpful in the common tinea versicolor fungal
eruption over the trunk. It's not meant to be continued in either
situation
indefinitely.

There are some older studies that seem to imply that long term use, at
least
of the prescription strength, can thin the scalp hair.

I personally have not tried Selsun for rosacea, but since there is an
element of fungal overlay in that condition, it might help.
