Indeed. Romney was by no means a complete disaster of a governor, but he 
just couldn't seem to get his mind around the fact that when he said "jump" 
to many of the folks in state gov't., they didn't and there wasn't anything 
he could do about it.

The idea of a surgeon in politics is an unponderable mystery.
Radically different personality requirements.

I feel the same way about businessmen (and Ms. Fiorina) in
politics, having watched our governor Romney founder on
the shoals of the political give&take.
