Ah! My somewhat pregnant wife was up front with the clergy, and I was just 
in back of them. as I was on Diocesan Council at the time, and 1-1/2 year 
old son Thomas was in back with a friend.

O, it was. I was an usher, seated right down front on the right.

Tom-our-Bishop was consecrated at the Boston University
hockey rink.

I think the ladies praying the rosary probably met to do so every
day at that time. Not at all uncommon to have informal rosary
groups in RC churches here.
