When Albert would turn her on back in Brooklyn when my mother was alive, mom 
would say, "She doesn’t know Scripture. It says . . . ."

Mom was the best when it came to knowing Scripture -- a militant agnostic from 
childhood, she learned every chapter and verse so as to use it as a weapon 
against her conservative Dutch Reform cousins <g>.

Of course it helped Suzanne from time to time "Where in the Bible does it say 
"...." and mom would reply things like "Look in Numbers 4" or something equally 
obscure <g>.
