[Magdalen] Saint Michael and All Angels.

Whatever happened to the observance of the Feastday of
Saint Michael and All Angels which is today, September  29th?
 
This Feast always coincided with the return of the full choir in 
the Latin Tridentine Rite, and the same is true for a lot of  Anglocatholic
parishes.  The Feast also gave the name to the so-called  Michaelmas
Term in academic institutions.

Here is the '79 Prayer Book Traditional Collect for this Feast:
 
 
O Everlasting God, who has ordained and constituted the  ministries
of angels and men in a wonderful order:  Mercifully grant that,  as
thy holy angels always serve and worship thee in heaven, so by  thy
appointment they may help and defend us on earth; through  Jesus
Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy  Spirit,
