[Magdalen] small prayer...

With the incredible devastation here in Houston and up near me, I almost 
can't bring myself to ask for prayers for the waters to part and recede so 
that my mom's memorial service can take place on Saturday as planned.... 
(the road in front of the church has finally crested - it is flooded by a 
local creek/bayou that is maybe 200' from the road and parallel to it... 
I've not seen this kind of water in 30 years, and the homes damaged and 
people with no place to go, is unbelievable.

At least one of my two daughters who both live on the left coast have plans 
to be here and most of my mom's friends from here are elderly, so I pray for 
an easy route for their being able to attend.
