[Magdalen] Thank you National Parks Service

Well, there's nothing particularly interesting near the South Entrance
anyway, which just leads to Grand Teton - worth a few days itself. Remember
Yellowstone is at ~8000' and sees a *lot* of winter.

Chad, I had checked the current state of the roads in the Park and the ones
I want are shown as being open. I won't be able to go much further, though,
as the road to the South Entrance is still closed.

Yes, you need to do this. Great Falls of the Yellowstone is impressive too.
Hopefully there won't be a lot of snow. Note that a lot of Yellowstone is
still closed for the season.

Mooching around on the Web trying to decide what to do tomorrow I discovered
that this is National Parks Week with free admission at all National Parks.
Here I am relatively close to Yellowstone and I have always been intrigued
by Old Faithful. It will probably be a long day, particularly if I arrive
just after the start of a two hor gap between eruptions, but surely I need
to do this once.
