[Magdalen] I have house guests

One crisis at a time. I think the thrill of having their own little ones
makes up for a lot.

My brother and his first wife had four kids, which doesn't seem like much
until you consider that several times, my sister-in-law had miscarriages,
and in a couple of cases nearly died. She was telling once that she was
delighted to have had four children, "And I'd like to have four more!"
Alas, she died too young of an unknown type of cancer.

We miss not having had kids, but we also know that we would not be able to
do many of the things we've done if we had kids.
