There is a percentage take-up for these immunisations that will prevent 
the development of an epidemic. It can be that certain individual 
children should nou, for medical reasons related to their own condition, 
should not receive certain immunisations.  The problem is that if that 
number is inflated by people claiming non-scientific reasons why their 
child should not be immunised then the danger of an epidemic, affecting 
not only their own children but others for whom immunisation is 
medically contraindicated, is increased.  These claimed principles 
endanger others.
