[Magdalen] Ordination

I'm leaving in a little while for Philadelphia and the ordination tomorrow of a former spiritual directee. It will be at the cathedral, and then he'll be celebrating his first Mass on Sunday at his parish in Yeadon. He's asked me to be in the altar party for that.

Tomorrow afternoon I'll meet up with Carol and Andre Trevathan for a bit of birding. It turns out that the motel where I'll be staying is within walking distance of the wildlife refuge--who knew?!
The only time I met them in person was at Frank Griswold's installation and that amazing party at Diana Smith's. I'm grateful to whoever on here suggested that I get in touch with them--I didn't know they were in Philly.
