Of course not, he was one of ours. ;)

6 degrees of separation time ...

Way back in the late 70s I spent some time working at CBC Vancouver in the
Entertainment division as a production secretary.  We were producing a
musical variety show. Alan Thicke was the senior producer and writer.

Being young and foolish, one day I edited a joke he had written. He kindly
laughed and told me to keep it in, I'd improved it.

He was a kind and generous boss. Which in the 70s was something in that
world.

There was a great interview with him on CBC Radio One last week.  He didn't
sound unwell.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
